LabArchives Electronic Notebooks

LabArchives electronic lab notebook service

The LabArchives web-based electronic lab notebook (ELN) system is available to all members of the University of Oxford.

Whether you are conducting research, writing a paper, or preparing for a presentation, having well-organised and accurate notes can greatly enhance your ability to understand and communicate your findings. Electronic lab notebooks are alternatives to traditional paper lab notebook. Among other things, the service can be used for storing research data, and for securely sharing files with colleagues within the University and beyond.

Accurate records are also important for open and reproducible research and proving the creation of intellectual property. Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs) are a core tool to help with these processes.

The University of Oxford's LabArchives subscription is administered by IT Services: visit the service web pages for more information.
